Yana C. Kodzai

Yana was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is one of three siblings—including an identical twin. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Having taken the LSAT twice, Yana was eager to begin a career in law, but the pandemic shifted her path, leading her into nursing school. While she valued the opportunity to work with people, she soon realized the healthcare field wasn’t the right fit. In 2023, she returned to her original passion, giving family law a try—and has been here ever since. Yana enjoys supporting clients through life’s challenging transitions. Outside the office, she loves being on the water, cheering on Charlotte’s soccer team, and spending time with her energetic boxer pup, Harley. She strives to be a welcoming face for everyone who walks through our doors.
