Cathy L. Lamarca

Senior Paralegal

Originally from Indiana, Cathy survived its brutal winters before relocating with her family to sunny South Florida, where she began her career as a family law paralegal. As a child of divorce who experienced a custody trial from a minor child’s perspective, Cathy brings a rare and deeply personal understanding of the emotional and practical complexities involved in child custody matters.

With more than 30 years of family law paralegal experience, Cathy is well-versed in all aspects of family law, including child support, child custody, post-separation support, alimony, and equitable distribution. She represents clients through litigation, mediation, and arbitration, always with a focus on thoughtful advocacy and practical solutions.

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, photography, experimenting with new recipes (often on her very patient husband, family, and friends), spoiling her two tuxedo cats—Frank and Ginger—spending time with family, and working in her yard.
