Experience & Understanding

My grandfather started Hugh G. Strickland, Inc. in 1952 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina serving the community as a General Contractor performing commercial work. My father, Gary Strickland, took over the business and currently is President of the company. I spent many summer days working for Hugh G. Strickland, Inc. and I understand the aspects of being a General Contractor.

In addition, I have practiced law since 2002. I have been a Mecklenburg County District Court Judge for the past 8 years (2012-2020). I have presided over jury trials and have ruled in thousands of cases.
