Peyton M. Butt

Peyton attended Auburn University in Alabama where she learned rather early on that she wanted to attend law school. She graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. From there she went straight to law school at Campbell University where she graduated in May of 2022.

While in law school Peyton explored different areas of the law through various internships and clinics. She found that family law was where she could best advocate for and serve those around her. During her time in law school, Peyton interned at a family law firm based out of Raleigh, North Carolina and worked in the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic at Campbell University with Pro Bono clients in Wake County on family law matters. Both of these experiences helped solidify her decision to pursue this family law after graduation.

A Charlotte resident, Peyton enjoys enjoys baking in her free time, cheering on her Auburn Tigers during football and basketball season, and exploring all the new restaurants opening around Charlotte with her fiancé, Danny, and their friends.
